A major global Truck manufacturer approached us through a referral for an incentive for their dealers. The profits had been great this year and they wanted to do something truly special for the top achieving dealers. They came to us with a blank canvas with a 10 day program. After presenting multiple continents to them, we struck a chord with Spain. The idea was a ‘Tale of two cities’ exploring the best of Madrid and Barcelona.

We sent out teasers of Spain to the delegates in the months leading up to the incentive to set the tone and get them excited for the event. The morning of day 1 we had tricycles waiting outside the hotel to take them on a guided tour through the city taking in the highlights including Palacio Real. Through out their time in Madrid we not only visited but managed exclusive access into various highlights such as the Bernabeu stadium. Culture was on showcase with a dinner viewing of the awarded ‘World’s Best Tablao Flamenco Show’.

We immersed ourselves in rich Spanish culture and history with a visit to the beautiful architectural legacy that is Segovia and world heritage site in Toledo. Both cities had us in awe as we explored the cobble streets, local sword making shops and jaw dropping scenery at its peak. We were late departing both locations as the delegates just did not want to leave.

A speed train took us to Barcelona with jovial banter on board, before taking GoGo Cars for a spin around the city. La Sagrada Familia and Park Guell had the group captivated from first sight. A day tour to Montserrat and Codorniu gave us some breath taking scenery and the best wine you could ask for.

While there were highlights every day, the food was the standout. We had organized for them all the various food experiences Spain had to offer from the markets to Michelin Star restaurants, from marzipan, wine tasting, to cooking classes. After every meal we promised to stop, but no one ever could.

We partied, we laughed, we made lifelong friends and we left a little chubbier having the best time of our lives in our tale of two cities.
